Book covers of James Bond 007

The illustrations on the book cover designs of the original James Bond 007 books (Novels) by the original author Ian Fleming are the best version.  There are a few different versions of all these book covers.

 

The designs and illustrations on the front covers show the good use of colours and font styles.

On each of the book covers of the 14 main original James Bond 007 stories, each one shows a different Bond girl with the different colours and styled fonts book titles.

 

All those people who have seen all the old and new James Bond movies always know that there are many different bond girls with James Bond 007.  Once those actresses whose has been cast to play a Bond Girl and starred or appeared in a bond movie, they will become famous.

Scottish Fabric Patterns

Looking back at this design of Scottish fabric patterns that I had drawn and designed, it looks really good and I did really good work on it.  I looked at some of the Scottish fabric design patterns and used or borrowed some of them on the designs but for the rest of the design patterns I created my own ones. 

Scottish fabric patterns have lots and lots of different styles of pattern designs on different fabrics. The Scottish people use many, many different colours and patterns to put on to their Scottish fabrics. They make lots and lots of colourfully-designed Scottish patterns.  I like looking at Scottish Fabric Pattern designs because they have so many different variety of colours and styles of pattern designs on their fabrics.

Book Festival in Hong Kong

I went to Wan Chai’s Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center (HKCEC). The Popular’s Book Festival there is free for admission this year 2011. This event and another event Asia game show are both held in December at almost end of every new year. The Popular’s Book festival in Hong Kong had not allowed free admission when they were held in the past years.

This year 2011 was the first time the Popular’s book festival allowed free admission. Once arrived there, had a look around for all the different kind of things they have available there. For example, like different kinds and types of books and some others. There are even some CDs,VCDs and DVDs. At the end, bought a few things. Bought a Batman’s Batmobile owner manual guide. This is one of the happiest times. Afterwards, decided to meet someone we know for lunch at The Landmark . The foods and drinks at the food court tastes all right only not really bad or not really good. Later, took photos of some model with mountains, snow, trees, and trains and some others. But not the train models.

I feel happy today because I went to a Book festival, I have not been to one before and also got one of the favourite books out of many others that I really like.

My writing exam essay comments

I think that my writing exam, I have done all I can.  The writing exam essay looks really good also.  The only way is to write as much as possible and hopefully complete all four parts of an essay then I know that I have written a whole essay.  It doesn’t really matter too much if the essay is good or bad as long as I try to write more and faster.  By the time I have lots of words and all four parts or are finished.

This shows I have done my best for all essays that I write.  I feel it is really, really good that I study essays, know how to write four parts to finish a whole essay.  Have ideas given and thought of ideas and put all I know or learned about how to write essays together is the most important thing about writing essays.  I thought maybe it was not enough but the teacher already thought may be it was too much. It is inorganic collection time

Every 2 to 3 years there is a time in June or maybe some other month where people put out inorganic rubbish for the Auckland City Council to collect.  The people throw away rubbish that is inorganic and you don’t need or want.  This happens in New Zealand.  All unwanted rubbish will be taken to the landfill. There are always times when some people throw the rubbish out. 

Some people look through the piles and piles of rubbish to see if there are still some rubbish that can be reused or fixed and take home.  This way it is very good for the environment. (Photo: RA)

My powerpoint presentation thoughts

I think that my powerpoint presentation, I have done my best.  My powerpoint slide were really good.  I just want to be able to go out there and say it or read it out loud even if I passed or not.  The most important thing is that I have can go out and have confidence to do or try to do the presentation. 

This will make me feel good or really good that when I do things doesn’t matter good or bad just try to have confidence to do things and the result are good or bad is still alright as long as I try to do things get them done and know that I have made achievements or achieve something.  The teacher said that the other students making a lot of noise, doing other things and also being noisy and going in and out and even just too much things, being distracting is very distracting and send them all outside to other places.

No room at the shelter

The kennels have all been filled up and some of the dogs have been staying there for months.  The SPCA Auckland is running out of space.  There are only 66 adults and 63 puppies that have now found their homes.  During the past three months, there have been 405 adult dogs and 225 puppies that are taken to the Mangere animal village. 

For some people, it is really hard when they cannot afford to feed and give shelter to these animals any more like how it used to be and also do not feel like they can have a choice.  During these times, whenever people are losing their jobs or just struggling to pay the bills, they do not even think about going to get a pet.  The owners are encouraged to desex their pets.  For example, if they need medical treatment and the owners cannot give these things to them. My observation on giving presents

After all these year of giving presents to people and teachers I like or really like, I now have really thought of and found out the difference between the male and the female gender species of human after they have received the presents and when they will open them. 

I have been giving out presents or giving presents to people and mostly to the teachers I like or really, really like for years and years ever since I was in primary school.  Every time I have to buy presents and bring them with me in my bags, I feel like I have a mission and missions to complete.  I have to succeed in finish giving out all presents then I will feel happy and successful. 

The difference is that some males might open their presents straight away but most of them open their presents after so long later and also some females will open their presents after so long later but most of them open their presents straight away after receiving then from the giver. (Photo: KA)

Penguins’ new playpen

The Auckland zoo’s new little blue penguins and sea lion enclosure is home to six females and two males. 

There will also be another three birds in quarantine that are waiting to join them.  One of the keepers says more space means they can hold more than the staff they previously could and this gives them more options for breeding in the future.  She says that the feathered little friends blue penguins seem like they have settled in really well.  They are also really eating well and using the pool.  The area of the enclosure is larger than the previous one.  In the new enclosure other birds like shags and dotterels will also be inside.  (Photo: Wikipedia)

Trams ready to roll on the Waterfront

There are two tramcars from Melbourne that will be running on Auckland’s waterfront, the trams which are from the 1920s.  They have been unloaded last month in preparation for the Wynard Quarter tram loop.  It will circuit around Jellicoe, Halsey, Gaunt and Daldy streets on the City’s waterfront.  They are now being restored at the Bendigo Tramway Museum in Victoria.  These were last seen appearing on the streets of Auckland in 1956.  One is the 17-tonne  x-1 tram that carries 32 passenger. The story of the silly pigeon

Today in the city where we were waiting for the bus in Queen Street, one pigeon went into a photocopy centre.  It went in and out and then a second one also went inside and did not come out after a long time.  After we went on the bus and left they still did not reappear.  We don’t know what happened to them.   (Photo: RA)

P90 Parking’s such a pain

A Remuera resident was shocked about getting a $45 parking fine at the St Lukes Westfield Shopping Mall.  The annoyed shopper found out that Westfield had contract with Wilson’s Parking to monitor and issue charges to the people that who stayed beyond over the marked time limits.  He had just exceeded a 90-minute parking bay restriction.  When you do not pay your ticket you will face a $20 penalty.  If you still refuse to pay up, then this problem will be taken to the debt collectors.

School gets portable pool

Student at Oranga School now have their own portable pool installed.  Pools, NschoolZ is a charitable trust helping the low decile school teach water safety skills to students with help of the suppliers and the donations.  The cost to the school is low.  The pool is heated and also it has a weather proof gazebo.  They can use it all year-round.  The aim of this is to get the children to learn how to survive in the water. 

The pool will stay there until the end of the term.

Mum gives her heartfelt thanks

On February 22 in the aftermath New Zealand Christchurch had an earthquake.  A mother gives her heartfelt thanks.  You need a cordon Photo ID to get into the red zone and there was a family who stayed there while the other people all left.  Most houses there are empty.  The streets are all empty every where.  A young girl from the McInnes family made a passport for the police constable before he was leaving to go back to Auckland. How to ask for direction to the school ?

Today when we were walking up to Mt Eden, a woman was asking for directions to go to the school that she wanted to go to.  She said, “Do you know where is Epsom School?”  We asked her which school but she did not tell us.  We just told her that there are two schools, a primary school and an intermediate school.  If you want to go up it is the intermediate and if you go down there it is the primary. Buy a coffee for a stranger on day

There is now an innovative twist on the ‘pay it forward’ concept.  It has been set to hit Auckland cafes on May 18 to promote fair trade in the developing countries.  Behind the Pay Forward tread Day is the brainchild of Auckland University students who are Rennie Qin and Soyeon Lim.  The way how the concept works is when a customer goes into a cafe and buys a coffee he/she will have to leave it as a gift for the next person. 

Ms Qin says that has created a domino effect.  She believes this experiment will be a huge hit success with the kiwis because they are such a fun loving and generous kind of people. (Photo: NMG)
